Hi Everyone! Welcome to the web site for Joni Packard and Blue Marmot Music!

As I write this, it’s springtime in the Rockies! Snow squalls have been moving in and out of the valley the last few days, and new snow blankets the hills just beyond. Courageous little crocuses and a single daffodil have been shivering but undaunted, pushing through the light layers of snow as if to say “We are here! We are here!” Meadowlarks are back, bursting forth with golden song as spring storms swirl and toss the feathered notes on high. It’s spring, and it’s wonderful, this changing of the seasons!

For folks who’ve been so patiently waiting (and continually asking!!)… Some good news!! This coming year I’ll be starting my second CD project, with new songs about life and love, and the beauty of this incredible Northern Rockies landscape that I now call home. I’ll keep you posted via this web site when #2 becomes available. And yes, I’ll be getting up to technological speed using social media and ensuring the new CD (and the “Wild Places…” CD) is available for on-demand streaming and user playlist sharing/digital downloading too.
